Remembrance Sunday 2026 – Partington Parish Council Invites Residents to Join in Remembrance

Partington Parish Council warmly invites residents, families and members of the wider community to join us for our annual Remembrance Sunday Service on Sunday, 8 November 2026, at 11:00 am.
This important occasion provides an opportunity for our community to come together in reflection and remembrance, honouring the courage, service and sacrifice of those who gave their lives in conflict, as well as all those who have served and continue to serve our country.
The service will include the traditional two-minute silence at 11:00 am, offering a moment for everyone to pause, reflect and pay their respects.
All residents and parishioners are warmly welcome to attend. Warm drinks and biscuits will also be available, providing an opportunity for members of the community to come together before and following the service.
The Order of Service is attached for those wishing to familiarise themselves with the arrangements beforehand.
Remembrance poppies will also be available for anyone wishing to wear one as a symbol of remembrance and support.
Partington Parish Council looks forward to welcoming residents as we come together to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
