A Fantastic Team Effort at the Partington Summer Fair

What a fantastic day for Partington!

A huge thank you to Cllr Lauren Jones and Cllr Gaynor Maas, pictured with members of our fabulous Community Improvement Worker (CIW) team – Mike, Frank and Gordon, together with Cllr Tracy Baistow and our resident DJ, Cllr Tony Rudden, who helped keep everyone entertained throughout the day.

Our Chair, Cllr Ian Edwards, was also on hand throughout the day, chatting with residents, making sure everyone was enjoying themselves and supporting the team. As our new Chair, it was great to see Ian embracing his role, taking the time to listen to residents and continuing the community involvement he has always shown during his time as a Councillor. It was lovely to see him out and about representing the Parish Council and enjoying the day alongside everyone else.

The Summer Fair was a wonderful community event, and its success was down to the hard work, enthusiasm and teamwork of everyone involved.

Our fantastic CIW team worked incredibly hard both in the run-up to the event and throughout the day, helping with preparations, setting up and making sure everything ran smoothly.

We would also like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers, local organisations GMP, PPL PRS Ltd and supporters who contributed to the day, and to Your Housing Group (YHG) for their valued support and sponsorship towards the event.

Partington Parish Council is incredibly grateful to everyone who gave their time, energy and support to help make the Summer Fair such a success.

Most importantly, thank you to our residents who came along, joined in and helped create such a lovely community atmosphere.
