Before contacting the Parish Council – Reporting an Issue
If your enquiry relates to a service provided by Trafford Council, such as fly-tipping, litter, potholes, highways, street lighting, missed bins or overgrown vegetation, please follow these steps.
- REPORT IT – Report the issue directly to Trafford Council using its online reporting service.
- KEEP YOUR REFERENCE NUMBER – You will need this to track and follow up your report.
- FOLLOW IT UP – If the issue is not resolved within Trafford Council’s published timescale, follow it up directly with Trafford Council using your reference number.
- ESCALATE IF NECESSARY – Use Trafford Council’s appropriate escalation or complaints procedure if the issue remains unresolved.
- CONTACT THE PARISH COUNCIL – Only once the above steps have been followed should you contact the Parish Council for assistance. Please provide your reference number, date reported, details of your follow-up and any responses received.
Please note: The Parish Council contact form is not an alternative to Trafford Council’s reporting or complaints procedures. The Parish Council may assist with an unresolved matter once the appropriate Trafford Council procedures have been exhausted.
